A One-Off Family Mart Store in Tokyo Will Let Patrons Shop and Sing
Family Mart is a huge convenience store chain in Japan that will soon open, offering a song with other corner store goods like magazines and milk. The unique Family Mart store is a one-of-a-kind that will be opened on April 17th in Tokyo, as part of a collaboration with Karaoke Club DAM.
The convenience store itself will be open around the clock, although the karaoke component of the shop will only operate from 10 am - 5 pm. But between these hours, visitors are encouraged to enter one of Family Mart's self-service karaoke booths and belt out a tune.
The hybrid store is meant to meld the convenience of Family Mart stores with the high-quality karaoke of Karaoke Club DAM, although it's a pretty bizarre pairing.
