Diapers.com now ships to 67 foreign markets

The Amazon-owned e-retailer is also offering full refunds on merchandise returned within 30 days of purchase.
When parents need diapers in countries across much of the world, Diapers.com will ship them as quickly as possible, the Amazon.com-owned retailer says.
Diapers.com is one of nine e-commerce sites operated by Quidsi Inc., a unit of Amazon.com Inc., that Quidsi says is now shipping orders to 67 countries. (It includes in that total both China and Hong Kong, which is part of China but operates under its own government.)
“With this launch, we reinforce our dedication to making busy parents’ lives easier via best-in-class product selection for the whole family, fast shipping and 24/7 customer service—not just in the U.S., but now across the globe,” says Robyn Brown, international expansion leader at Quidsi.
Quidsi says it will also accept returns within 30 days of purchase in exchange for a full refund of the purchase price. Customers pay their own return shipping fees.
Quidsi says the shopping carts on its e-commerce sites show the full landed cost of receiving an order, including all cross-border customs fees, so customers never have to pay additional fees related to international shipping. Customers pay an “import fees deposit” along with the product price and shipping fee during online checkout. The import fees deposit is based on Quidsi’s estimated costs related to international taxes and customs duties, but its customers aren’t charged extra if the final import fees turn out to be higher than estimated, Quidsi says. If the final import fees turn out to be less than estimated, Quidsi refunds customers the difference, the retailer says.
“Packages will be delivered directly to customers’ doors, with no trip to the customs house and no surprise fees,” Quidsi says. Amazon is No. 1 in the Internet Retailer Top 500.
In addition to Diapers.com, other Quidsi e-commerce sites offering the international shipping include Casa.com (home goods), BeautyBar.com (cosmetic products) and YoYo.com (toys).
The countries listed as destinations are:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Quidsi provides expedited shipping to most of the countries on its list, with deliveries within three days to several countries in Europe, within four days to Hong Kong, six or seven days to several countries in Latin America, and nine days to Russia.
