Sears adding drive-thru returns and exchanges

Sears announced it is adding returns and exchanges to its In-Vehicle Pickup service. The services are integrated into the retailer's Shop Your Way mobile app. According to the company, members can pick up, return or exchange purchases without leaving their vehicle, with a guaranteed wait time of five minutes or less.
“Buying what you really want should be easy — that’s why we continue to make it more convenient to pick-up, return and exchange items that you have purchased right from your car,” said Leena Munjal, senior vice president, Sears Holdings. “We’re all living busy, on-the-go lives, and this latest expansion to Sears integrated retail conveniences means that you can spend less time making a return or exchange and more time shopping.”
Customers start by initiating the return at sears.com. For an exchange, the customer selects the desired replacement product. They then visit the store, park in a designated In-Vehicle Pickup spot, then activate the mobile app to let store associates know they are there.
